The elongated head design of the K15 degree combines with an external weight pad to position the CG for higher launching, longer carry drives. Engineered with Straight Flight Technology (SFT), The 460cc driver promotes natural club head rotation by concentrating approximately 10% of the head mass towards the heel. A larger face increases forgiveness and ball velocity for greater distance and accuracy.

 

 

The Ping K15 driver features big distance. Combining a large-profile 460cc head and a club face that is longer heel to toe, the MOI is sizeable for consistent performance across the hitting surface. This design positions the center of gravity low and back to generate high launch and low spin.The Ping K15 driver has a larger 460cc head design that moves weight away from the clubface to push the centre of gravity backwards and provide a higher trajectory. By increasing the length from heel to toe Ping have also been able to create a larger surface to provide high levels of forgiveness and higher ball velocity.Ping's own Ultra Thin Crown Technology has been utilised to redistribute 8 grams to the external weight pad and further enhance the position of the centre of gravity and moment of inertia. 

 

 

"Straight Flight Technology" of K15 driver positions 10 percent of the head's mass toward the heel, promoting more face rotation and a straighter ball flight. The clubface is longer toe to heel than the G15 to increase ball speed (and forgiveness) on off-center hits.Ping drivers are known to promote faster ball speed across the clubface. To that end, the K15 boasts a large face profile and high moment of inertia (MOI). K15's bread and butter, though, is to help guys rotate the clubface to a more square impact position and, subsequently, hit straighter shots. The head tries to "square up" dynamically (as you swing) due in part to a meaty, heel-side external pad along the sole.
